Howdy Y’all!
What – The 12th Annual LinwoodSummit Gathering.
When – Saturday, 26 September 2020. Let’s say 5pm until ?
Where – Y’all know where – at LinwoodSummit of course!
Why – It gives us joy and an excuse to enjoy your company for a little while.
How – We cook up some sort of roadkill, y’all optionally bring something you’d like to share. We all sit around, eat, drink, tell stories and generally have a pretty good time.
For 11 years now we have had the privilege of hosting a little annual get-together here at LinwoodSummit. We get to see old friends, make new friends, eat and imbibe. We’re proud to say that we get asked every year by someone “When’s this years gathering?”
After much soul searching and talking with neighbors, family, friends, Romans and countrymen we have decided that we do not want to break our tradition of the LinwoodSummit Gathering.
This has been a crazy year in so many ways, and frankly it seems that it’s not going to really let up any time soon. No matter where you stand on current issues, I think you’ll agree that this November will be one to remember. And (channeling Forrest Gump) “that’s all I got to say ’bout that.”
…Along those lines… PLEASE RSVP by text/phone/email/FB message/carrier pigeon or something so we know that we will have space available for any current ‘distancing’ requirements or desires. It would also be helpful for you to bring a chair or something to sit on.
